Enter your participant information to start activity tracking.
Learning outcomes
- Convert course activities into accurate résumé evidence.
- Prepare concise situation-action-result interview examples.
- Create an employment plan with roles, gaps, actions, dates, and support.
Show evidence instead of unsupported claims
A résumé should describe relevant skills, tools, projects, and accomplishments truthfully. Training activities may be presented as coursework, projects, simulations, or skills practice, but should not be described as paid employment unless they were actual employment.
Key points
- Use action verbs and specific outcomes.
- Match truthful evidence to the job description.
- Do not claim a national certification before it is earned.
Plan the next transition
An employment action plan identifies target roles, current strengths, skill gaps, actions, dates, and support needs. Interview preparation should include employer research and examples that show communication, dependability, judgment, and role-specific learning.
Key points
- Create weekly application and networking goals.
- Track follow-ups and outcomes.
- Ask references in advance and share relevant role information.
